The Third Annual Conference of China Intelligent Transportation was held in Nanjing
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

　　Undertook by the National Intelligent Transportation System Coordinating Group, Southeast University and the National Road Traffic Management Engineering and Technical Research Center, the Third National Intelligent Transportation was held on December 14-15, 2007 in Nanjing. The representatives from government departments, scientific research institutes, colleges and universities, enterprises, totally more than 300 ones, participated in. We also were invited to attend to this meeting.

　　After successfully bid to host “The 14th World Congress on Intelligent Transportation Systems” in 2007, domestic Intelligent Transportation System had a rare opportunity for development, especially the recently promulgated "long-term national science and technology development planning framework" ranking the “Intelligent Transportation Management System” as the “key field and prime theme” which indicated that China's ITS was in a golden development period.

　　The theme of this annual conference is “flowing traffic in urban brought out by intelligent transportation". The meeting summed up the latest achievements and experiences in the field of intelligent transportation in our country. The just completed “The 14th World Congress on Intelligent Transportation Systems” in Beijing had inspirited domestic professions and made preparation for construction of the intelligent transportation of “The 11th Five-Year Plan”.
